With everyone's favorite color commentator Bruce. |

Intellectual Intercourse July 14 2001 Hey PCW fans, prepare to have intellectual intercourse with everybody's favorite color commentator, Bruce. It's been a week of rapid change here in PCW. S&M's reunion sent shockwaves rippling through the PCW locker room. Their possession of both the PCW Heavyweight Title as well as the commissionership makes S&M more powerful than ever. It seemed as though they had taken the next logical step in accomplishing their cu de tat when Jackal defeated Wicus for the Television title on the July 12th edition of PCW TV. S&M's progression in taking over PCW was halted however by Genocide of all people when he defeated Jackal for the TV title immediately following Jackal's hard fought win over Wicus. Now to most PCW fans this turn of events may have came as a surprise but to a man who does his homework, it was as regular as clockwork. You see, some of you may have noticed Genocide's absence from our last Pay-Per View, A New Level. Now just remember you heard it here first because Bruce is about to give everyone the inside story on Genocide's recent no show. I have it from a reliable source that Jackal was upset with Genocide's showing against him during their Teacher vs. Student match at the June 1st taping of PCW TV. Jackal's original plan at A New Level concerning Technical Execution's open challenge was to assemble a team comprised of Genocide and Roman, who Jackal had actually recruited to answer the challenge of Technical Execution to throw off the tag team champions, in case you didn't know. Jackal instead decided that Genocide was not worthy of another shot at Technical Execution and opted to take up the challenge himself. Now anybody who knows me knows that Jackal and I are close personal friends. He told me that he abandoned Roman due to the insubordination he showed towards Jackal. He also told me that punishing Roman by leaving him to Technical Execution was more satisfying than a victory since he plans to win the titles with S&M. This rejection of Genocide at the hands of Jackal makes Genocide's actions on PCW TV this week seem perfectly logical. Genocide wanted redemption, he wanted to show Jackal that he could step up to the plate and deliver, but even more than that he wanted to break away from Jackal's sphere of influence. At least that is the opinion of this color commentator, Genocide's motives remain somewhat mysterious due to the fact that he does not posses the gift of speech. Judging from the intensity in which he punished Jackal throughout portions of the matchup however, I would say that this time it was personal. While Genocide's intensity during this encounter was admirable I don't believe that he thought the situation through. Genocide achieved his goal in the short term sense, he attained his revenge, but look at the situation he has put himself into now and you will see a much bleaker picture. It's pretty safe to say that Genocide has put himself on the bad side of S&M considering that he found himself at the receiving end of the Hydra after the match had already ended. It's also obvious that there's no love lost between Genocide and Technical execution. This leaves Genocide lacking allies at a time when two of the most dominant forces in PCW history are struggling for power. In addition to being caught in the crossfire between Technical Execution and S&M Genocide is now the TV champion. This means that every PCW wrestler who's seeking to make a name for himself will be gunning for Genocide. I for one will be watching closely to see if he can survive as the TV champ heading into Summer Salvation. The next few weeks will be Genocide's greatest test as for the first time in his PCW career, he stands alone, a marked man. |
